M88 Editorial / Mental Wellness
In the relentless tempo and high-pressure atmosphere of our concrete jungle, how do we reclaim a sense of inner serenity and emotional resilience? Earlier this month (June 6–9), the 2/F of M88—WOW Space Wellington—was profoundly honored to host a four-day, intensive mental wellness workshop organized by Art in Hospital.
“A truly meaningful commercial and community space should do more than just house bustling business activities; it must become a cultural oasis and a sanctuary for the urban soul.”
These four consecutive days were far more than a mere transmission of professional knowledge; they bloomed into a collective journey of spiritual restoration. Front-line guardians from various fields stepped into the embrace of WOW Space, temporarily laying down their heavy burdens to support and nourish one another through the gentle language of art and dialogue.
Mental wellness has always been an indispensable core pillar of M88’s philosophy. We hold a steadfast belief that a premier commercial and community space should do more than just house bustling business activities; it carries a higher calling to become a vibrant "cultural oasis" and a nurturing "sanctuary for the urban soul".
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Art in Hospital and Dr. Caroline Herbert for their profound and selfless sharing, as well as to every participant who stepped in with absolute presence and open hearts. Looking ahead, M88 remains fully committed to championing and hosting initiatives that nurture the mind, body, and spirit—infusing the heart of Central with deeper empathy, resilience, and the gentle, healing energy of warmth. 🕊️
