The "Chinese Culture Week 2026" officially kicked off at M88 WOW from January 24 to February 1! Accompanied by the thunderous beat of drums and the rhythmic movements of performing lions, we embarked on a nine-day cultural odyssey. This is more than a New Year celebration; it is a tribute to the craftsmanship and enduring spirit of our traditions.

Roots and Radiance: "Splendors of the Silk Road" Sharing Session

A key highlight was the study-tour sharing session co-organized by the School of Chinese Medicine (CUHK) and Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui. Young students shared their insights from their journey to Western China. Under the theme "Splendors of the Silk Road," they showcased the younger generation’s passionate exploration of their national cultural roots.

Melodies of Tradition: SKH St. Peter’s Primary School

The Chinese Orchestra of SKH St. Peter's Primary School captivated the audience with the elegant soul of traditional string and woodwind music. Witnessing the focused expressions of these young performers, we see the vibrant vitality of traditional Chinese music thriving in the heart of our international metropolis.

A Taste of Heritage: Kam Cha Milk Tea Demonstration

Beyond the visual and auditory delights, the event featured a live demonstration by "Kam Cha" (International Milk Tea King). As a pillar of Hong Kong’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, participants savored the silky aroma of the tea while witnessing the "collision and pulling" (撞茶與拉茶) techniques—a true testament to the artisan's pursuit of perfection.
